So, what actually is the Power Pose?
Remember the film Rocky? The scene where he runs up the steps of the museum and then poses at the top, arms and legs wide?
That's it.
Stand up, legs more than shoulder width apart and spread your arms like Rocky Balboa.
Say out loud:
“The world belongs to me!” and smile, if you can.
All the while, visualize giving your speech. You’re linking the positive feeling with the speech.
This technique is amazing as a confidence booster, but it is best to do it in private BEFORE you go to speak, not on stage!
